Benzoylurea insecticide, chitin synthesis inhibitors. Absorbed mainly by ingestion and shows some contact activity, cause abortive moulting. Also have high eggicidal activity. Mainly used to control of larvae of Lepidoptera, Coleoptera, Hemiptera and Diptera, whiteflies (Aleyrodidae) etc. on vegetables, cotton and corn.
